Titisee

Duravit contributes to an innovative toilet concept in the Black Forest. A new-style sanitary facility in the center of the popular resort of Titisee was opened in April by Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH. The brainchild of Managing Director Thorsten Rudolph and fully fitted out with Duravit products, it offers state-of-the-art hygiene and convenience for the ever-growing number of international bus tourists that visit the town. With over 400,000 international guests in 2018 – several thousand visitors a day – a creative and future-proof solution was required.

When Philippe Starck and Duravit carried out their first joint project in 1994, it was love at first sight, but neither realised how successful this cooperation would be.
